Good News/Bad News/Good News
I have good news and I have bad news.Actually, what I have is good news and some more good news, followed by some not-good-but-not-completely-terrible news.
The good news: I have dishes now. REAL dishes! (That paper plate was a bitch to wash.)
I also have REAL silverware now, which is gonna come in handy when I need to dig that bagel out of the toaster tomorrow morning.
The other good news? Daughter #2 is coming to stay with me this week. Age fifteen ... drop-dead gorgeous ... a dedicated cyber junkie, just like her Mom. I don't think she's seen this website yet, but I'm sure she's going to be absolutely delighted to learn that I've posted old journal entries about her potty-training experiences for all the world to enjoy ...
The not-good-but-not-completely-terrible news is that the air mattress finally bit the big one. I woke up in the middle of the night to discover I was laying on an inert puddle of cold plastic. Sigh. So I guess it's back to sleeping on "The Ouch" again ... which isn't completely-terrible. It's sorta like being married again. (Well, hell ... so is laying on an inert puddle of coldness. So there ya go.)
